About this blog

It’s difficult for Democrats to gain a political foothold in rural Georgia. Most of the State’s rural counties are dominated by Republicans. This is true for most parts of our country. Yet, every year some Democratic candidates succeed in rural, deep red localities. How do they do it? What makes them successful when so many others are not? That’s what “Georgia Democratics” is about. This blog features news, interviews, analysis, success stories, and lessons learned from rural Georgia and around the United States.
